Jeremy FisherDirector / Financial Planner
Jeremy started his financial services career in 1986 joining Imperial Life in Manchester where he was a Life Underwriter. Within the first year Jeremy progressed through Imperial Life’s Career Training Course and later joined the firm’s Management streaming course.
Since then Jeremy has worked as an Independent Financial Adviser at two local firms. He holds the Diploma in Financial Planning through CII and Chartered MCSI through CISI. Jeremy has attained the qualification in AF3 pension planning.
In 2017, with his partner, Lisa Bennett, Jeremy set up Lighthouse Financial Planning. In all his roles Jeremy’s one single goal has always been “to provide a first-class service to my clients making them the heart of everything I do”.
Lisa BennettDirector / Financial Planner
Lisa has a BA hons in Economics and German from Keele University. Lisa started her career in Financial Services with Aviva in 1999. There she passed her FPC exams and became a Financial Consultant. She then went on to work for two other large IFA practices before setting up Lighthouse Financial Planning with Jeremy. Lisa holds the Diploma in Financial Planning through CII and Chartered MCSI through CISI. Lisa specialises in Investment, taxation and Inheritance Tax planning* and has a wide range of clients including private clients, trustees and business owners.
Lisa enjoys being able to offer clients reassurance and support with their finances, and helping them review their plans to see if they are on track to achieve their goals.
Sarah KitchenOffice Manager / Paraplanner
After her A Levels Sarah went to York University and completed a Master of Chemistry Degree. She begin a career in the financial services and joined HSBC after completing her studies. Sarah then joined a Financial Adviser practice in Kendal in 2010 working as a Financial Administrator. During her time she gained an award in Financial Administration and passed the RO3 – Personal Taxation Exam. Sarah joined Lighthouse Financial Planning in October 2017 with a wealth of knowledge in financial services and customer service. During her time at Lighthouse Financial Planning she has passed the RO1 - Financial services, regulation and ethics exam as well as the RO2 – Investment Principles and Risk and the RO5 – Financial Protection exam.
Katie began her career in Financial Services in 2011 as a Financial Administrator after completing her A Levels at the Lakes School. Since joining the industry, Katie has gained an Apprenticeship in Financial Administration Level 3, the CII Award in Financial Administration and is currently working towards the CII Certificate in Paraplanning.
Katie joined Lighthouse Financial Planning in November 2017.
Louise SmithResearch Consultant / Paraplanner
Louise started her career with Scottish Provident in 1997. Whilst there Louise achieved the full Financial Planning Certificate and then went on to join an independent financial adviser firm where she worked for 16 years, 12 of these as an adviser. During this time, she completed the Diploma in Financial Planning, Certificate in Mortgage Advice Practice, Investment Management Certificate and Principles of Financial Planning qualifications. Louise joined Lighthouse Financial Planning in November 2018 as Research Consultant/Paraplanner, overseeing the company’s product and investment research. Louise continues to study towards achieving Chartered/Certified status.
